Since September 2, 2026 MoveJack is in both the Apple App Store and Google Play. Anyone who wants their trips and hours recorded automatically can now do it with the phone they already have — iPhone or Android.
Why Android belongs here
Android is the most used mobile operating system in the world. While MoveJack was on iPhone only, a large share of the people the app is built for could do nothing with it: technicians, field staff, sole proprietors who are out all day. That is solved now. There is still nothing to install in the car — and now no particular make of phone either.
The basis stays the same
On both platforms MoveJack does what it was built for: recording trips and hours without you having to think about it.
- records trips without a start or stop button;
- keeps hours and time spent at each place;
- keeps commuting apart from business and personal;
- remembers fixed places and clients;
- keeps several vehicles apart;
- exports reports to Excel or PDF.
Recording is the means, not the point. The point is that your records are finished without you having worked on them.
More than one way of traveling
MoveJack works out from the trip itself how you traveled. A bike ride shows in the combination of movement and a top speed that fits a bicycle; a train trip in the fact that almost the whole route runs along the rails; a bus trip in stopping systematically at stops. If the classification is wrong, you change it in two taps.
Privacy is still the starting point
It works the same on both platforms: your trips stay on your own phone, and we keep no central copy of them. You share them with a report you export and send yourself, so you decide which trips you share. More about that on privacy.
From recording to insight
MoveJack also shows what follows from that record: how much time you spend traveling, how many hours you put in at places, how many miles you drive, what that comes to in reimbursement, and how much CO₂ your trips cost. Where that is heading, and the choices behind it, is set out in why MoveJack exists.
