A tracker in the car works differently by design
With hardware trackers your location goes live to the supplier. Often whoever hired you can look on, and the data stays for years. With MoveJack that connection does not exist.
Always your call
Export or delete — without asking us
You take your journeys out whenever you like as Excel or PDF, and you throw them away whenever you like. There is no support ticket, no deletion request and no waiting — because there is nothing at our end to delete.
Which also means: make an export as your own backup. If you lose your phone, we cannot recover your journeys.
You have the rights UK GDPR gives you, and you can complain to the ICO. On your journeys we can tell you nothing, because we do not hold them.

Where are my trips stored?
On your phone, in the app. Not in a cloud and not on our servers — which is why we cannot read them, share them or hand them over.
How do I delete my data?
By deleting it in the app, or by removing the app. No deletion request and no waiting time, because there is nothing at our end to delete.
What if I lose my phone?
Then the trips are gone, because there is no copy with us. Export to Excel or PDF now and then, so your records have a backup.
What about the UK GDPR?
What never leaves your phone is not processed by us. Your rights as a data subject still apply, and the ICO is the authority to go to. The detail is in our privacy policy.
