Reports in Excel and PDF

You create a report in the app, for the period you choose, for all vehicles, one vehicle or one client, as Excel or PDF.

Creating a report

On the Export tab you choose a period, and under Per: all vehicles, one vehicle or a client. Then you choose Excel or PDF, and Share or Download.

You can also select journeys in the journey overview and export only those, or the journeys of selected visits. On a suitable iPhone, the AI assistant can also create a report.

What is in the Excel report?

In version 2.0.48 the column headers and headings of the Excel and PDF reports are in Dutch, whatever language you use the app in. Below, the meaning follows each Dutch heading in brackets.

One row per journey, with seventeen columns: Voertuig (vehicle), Datum (date), Start, Startadres (start address), Stop, Stopadres (stop address), Afstand (distance), Zakelijk (business), Privé (private), Woon-werk (commute), Duur (min) (duration in minutes), Kosten (costs), CO₂ (g), Score, Parkeren (min) (parking in minutes), Km-stand (odometer reading) and Opmerking (comment). Below them a Totaal (total) row. Journeys you added yourself are highlighted in yellow.

What is in the PDF report?

First a summary per category, with distance, rate and reimbursement. Then the journeys, with Datum (date), Van (from), Naar (to), Soort (category), Km-stand (odometer reading), Afstand (distance), Tarief (rate) and Vergoeding (reimbursement). A comment appears under the category. Times and duration are not in the PDF.

Good to know

  • Km-stand (odometer reading) is the reading of the app’s GPS counter, not your car’s odometer. See distance, mileage and odometer.
  • Kosten (costs) and Vergoeding (reimbursement) are the distance times your mileage rate, for every journey, including private journeys.
  • The app only creates Excel and PDF.

Known in version 2.0.48: for automatically recorded journeys, the date and the start and end time in the Excel report are in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). In the UK, UTC is one hour behind your own clock in summer and the same as your clock in winter, so in summer a journey shortly after midnight can appear on the previous day. Journeys you added yourself are in your own time. The Km-stand column is in metres, not kilometres.

Where is the report made?

On your phone. The report is saved as a file and can be found again under My reports. No MoveJack server is involved. See exporting and sharing.
